Telecontrol STM has been awarded a new contract to deploy fiber optic equipment in order to create communication rings between transformation centres for the SMARTGRID project, following the needs of UFINET TELECOM during 2015.
To perform this tasks, switches will be installed in the transformation centres, together with routers and switches at the electrical substations of the utility company.

Telecontrol STM has been awarded the migration of two satellite VSAT platforms operating under the imprint of Hispasat (Technology Hughes PES 5000 and Viasat Linkstar).
They will be changed to two new Hughes HX platforme, one operating in Ka band and the oher one in Ku band. These new platforms will use Hispasat satellites to operate with the same orbital position.

During 2014, Telecontrol STM has been participating in the adequacy of the communications in a transformation centre, in order to unify the remote management of the low voltage meters and the medium voltage breakers. The integration of communications is performed through a single 3G router.

The Department of Electrical Protections Systems has designed a multi test rack for protection relays from main manufacturers, deployed in substations of main utility companies.
With the help of this device every possible situation is simulated in different circuits (switchgear states, analog inputs, digital inputs, etc ...) in order to minimize both intervention times and downtime on client installation.
From the begining of 2013 to the the present day, the protection relays have been replaced in most installations of Madrid and Castilla la Mancha (Spain), all with satisfactory results.

Telecontrol STM participates in the international study executed by the Technical University of Lodz (Poland).
The research project is merely scientific, covering 22 countries of the European Union, and is related with the use of support in management of the development of micro, small and medium companies. The results of these studies will be of great magnitude for the European science and will be disseminated in a scientific publication.

The audit was conducted at Telecontrol STM SL facilities in Griñon (Madrid).
The conclusion of the report, taking into account the summaries of each of the disciplines audited, was that Telecontrol STM have been awarded as CERTIFIED company as strategic providers for the services declared in RePro, with a 7.31 score.

Starting august, Telecontrol STM has overcome the frontier of 3000 smart grid installations for utilities companies in Spain.
Two years before, in september 2012, the number of intallations put into service reached 1200.

Telecontrol STM have just confirmed its participation as a member of ITE, Energy Technological Institute located at Valencia (Spain). By this, our company is more present in the activities of this entity for the creation of new sinergies and the active participation in some of their projects. Since two years ago, Telecontrol STM is the software leader through ITE in Walkiria project, R+D project and complete platform for the management of electrical vehicles.

On the next 3rd June, a workshop will be held in the Altair Education Center, in Seville, where Telecontrol STM will attend, along with other technology companies, to make known their products both engineering and software, management processes and quality. We also will answer to any doubts from new students of this institute who are entering the labor market.
