Starting august, Telecontrol STM has overcome the frontier of 3000 smart grid installations for utilities companies in Spain.

Two years before, in september 2012, the number of intallations put into service reached 1200.

The provinces where the smart grid installations have been put in place are:

• Badajoz
• Córdoba
• Ciudad Real
• Guadalajara
• León>
• Madrid
• Segovia>
• Toledo
• >Zamora

For the management of all data reported by those "smart centers", Telecontrol STM suggests its open platform for the management of PRIME data concentrators and meters named IRIS, based on Iris Core Services, set of high level services, distributed and scalable by which the system can be customized for any particular customer needs.
