During the first quarter of 2016, Telecontrol STM has exceeded the barrier of 200 interventions in Smart Grid integrated centers of electrical distributors across Spain

Telecontrol STM pioneered the “SCALA – Smart Cities Alcalá Aranjuez” pilot project developed in the cities of Alcala de Henares and Aranjuez.

Since the beginning of the Project in 2011 until today, more than 5.000 interventions have taken place around the whole Iberian Peninsula.

The provinces in wich Telecontrol STM has performed Smart Grid integrations are:

• Badajoz
• Córdoba
• Ciudad Real
• Guadalajara
• León
• Madrid
• Segovia
• Toledo
• Zamora

For the management of the data collected by the “Smart centers”, Telecontrol STM provides its open meters and data concentrator management platform IRIS, based on the IRIS Core Services: a set of high level open services, distributed and scalable that enables the client to personalize the system to handle its needs. IRIS is an open and particularizable to the needs of any utility platform.

Currently the Platform for Remote Management Measures "IRIS" is marketed and deployed at the national and international levels.
