Telecontrol STM has started developing a new and innovative product through its factory (soon to be called SOLID Stack).

Smart TPL © is an Android based mobile terminal for manual readings of PRIME meters via the device's optical port.

The application manages the different reading routes that the distribution company provides. The main features of this application are the following:

• Daily/monthly reading and load profiles stored in the meter.
• Modifications in power, cut off and reconnection on site under strict security measures and operator authentication.
• Contract modifications
• Event download
• Incident creator
• Particularization for the automatic sending of all the information generated for the reading route to the billing system, STG or any third integrable software

Smart TPL is independent to any other Telecontrol STM software product.

How does Smart TPL obtain reading paths?

The distribution company must have a system for the automated generation of these reading routes. Smart TPL is flexible and can be integrated with any form in which the company generates such information (REST services, web services, csv or xml files).

Authentication of Operational Users

Each mobile terminal, supplied by Telecontrol STM, is associated with a particular operator and the IMEI of the device. There is a random key generation mechanism to prevent the use of the terminal by unauthorized personnel.

How is the product supplied?

Smart TPL is provided along with the mobile terminal, model and Android version validated by the product development team. Its marketing scheme is for unit licensing and its supply.
