IRIS 0.8 - Information Note
In our commitment to continuously improve the products and services offered, Telecontrol STM publishes this information note with information related to the upgrades and new features that IRIS telemanagement platform will incorporate in its new version 0.8.
Many of these improvements have been incorporated following the feedback received from our customers over the past year. The most relevant new functionalities are:
- Interactive meter PLC state geolocation; users will be able to choose the moment when meter PLC states will be displayed over their physical localization.
- Visual detection of connectivity faults with data concentrators.
- Event profiles; with this new characteristic, users only have to choose a group of events (fraud, surge, etc) and IRIS will automatically generate a report with the devices that have reported these event over a certain period of time. I.e., users will be able to receive a weekly report on which meters have reported an event of fraud.
- Many improvements in usability.
- Natural integration with IEC102 / DLMS meters.
- Control panel with more information.
- ... And some others.
The new version of IRIS will be ready in mid-summer, when both current clients and new companies joining our solution will upgrade their platform.
The attached document also includes new services offered by Telecontrol STM regarding telemetry and remote management, such as:
- IRIS Framework: head-end or API-based web services for high level management of PRIME meters and data concentrators, without the low-level details. This development framework is the core of IRIS and is offered as a standalone product for companies that need a very specific user interface and integration, individual work flows or highly scalable job.
- eVision: Final subscriber web portal where end users are able to view their daily consumption and schedules.
