The electric company "Electra Ferre" located in Carboneras (Almería) which provides electricity in Carboneras and Rodalquilar, has hired the use and experience of Iris v0.6 as its remote management system in the payment modality per use. Through this type of contract, innovative in today’s market, Software service is offered through a renewable monthly fee.

In this way, "Electra Ferre" uses Iris in its daily operation and management of PRIME devices: power changes, disconnections, automatically provides daily and monthly closings, device events management, firmware updates, etc. Among the capabilities offered by Iris noteworthy that the customer can see first hand and anytime, the communication status of his devices (Gateway connectivity and PLC communication states their meters).

Thanks to the Iris platform capability of integration into any system previously established, it is possible to implement the customer's particular needs. Subsequently, "Electra Ferre" can generate billing files that the company needs to send to secondary Gateway of CIDE.

Furthermore, we have also integrated within the system the end users policies as well as their names and locations. Thus using iris, the client can locate the meter from its policy number, name or surname, among many other searches. Iris can be integrated to allow keywords that the client may use with theirs meters (policies, CUPS, etc..).
