The company Electra Castillejense, situated in Villanueva de los Castillejos, Huelva, just purchased telemanagement and MDM Iris platform in a pay per use mode.

With this platform, this utility will begin to reduce greatly the operation costs with their electronic meters and gateways of data which had been deployed since a long time.

Electra Castillejense finished its deployment process and sustitution of analogic meters by the digital ones aproximately one year ago. Now, with the instalation and use of IRIS like advanced telemanagement software, gives compliance to all legal requirements in this regard.

With IRIS, the management of the whole meters is more secure and automatizated:

• For that, our customer can automate the PIC files that it need to send to bill.
• The operation with devices (instant voltage values, cuts and disconnection supply, power changes, quality supply, ...) is more easier than any other platform.
• IRIS 0.7.3 is now ready to obtaining and the process of load profiles (hourly values, new legal requirement for utilities).
• The detection of PLC incidents allows to the user resolve them and maximize the number of active and operable meters.
• IRIS detects and reports about possible fraud events.
• ...and a long etcetera that our new customer will be beneficiated from now.

A main element of this new contract has been the support and technical capacity warranty from the team that currently work and develop IRIS platform, helping to customer in solutions of communication issues and PRIME technology as well.

With Electra Castillejense, nowadays there are many utilities associated to CIDE (including others of ASEME) that confide in our platform to begin save money and reduce costs since the beginning. So, IRIS has established as facto standard within the electric area.
