The 9^th annual congress of CIDE  (association of electricity distributors) was held at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia on 14 and 15 June, 2012. This edition attracted around 170 distribution companies, with 460 people attending.

Telecontrol STM attended as an exhibitor, with a stand showing ZIV and Circutor meters and a ZIV concentrator, which allowed us to present our IRIS telemanagement platform. The stand received about 140 visits over the two days and the IRIS telemanagement platform was shown to most of the distributors who approached us.

Telectontrol STM was assisted by a representative from Microsoft to explain the benefits and advantages of Microsoft Azure, given that Iris can be deployed on Microsoft’s cloud computing platform, offering a unique market solution. This, together with the presentation of IRIS , generated a great amount of interest among distributors.

Other exhibitors included ZIV-Contar, Circutor, Orbis, Landis, Ormazábal, GEDLux, Itron, etc.

This congress also helped us strengthen ties with Landis, ZIV, Orbis and Sagemcom.

To conclude, the IRIS platform aroused great interest among distributors, and we shall be bidding for the tender for CIDE, who will send us the specifications in mid-July according to its Technical Manager.
