The Software Factory of Telecontrol STM has been rencently contracted by iGrid T&D for a new software development to build a communication front-end for remote devices deployed in transformation centers.

Given the nature of this project and the specific requirements of the customer (Linux environment and MySql as database server engine), the team in the Software Factory has choosen the stack based on MEAN tecnologies (without MongoDB):

• Express: module extraordinarily simple an light for NodeJS for the development of web servers.
• AngularJS: MVW framework for the development of web applications, clean and easy to maintain and light.
• NodeJS: platform based on the runtime for Javacript of Chrome for the development of server apps with high performance.

The project itself consists of the development of an user interface based on web and multi user for the monitoring in real-time the state of automated transformation centers, checking any incidence and events and accesible from the operantion center of the final client. The volume of information to be managed by the application is quite high, with millions of rows in the database tables and thousands of devices.

With this new order, Telecontrol STM shows again its technical skills in the development of high quality and value added software applications using state-of-the-art tecnologies; for this reason, our customers trust in us again and again as high value providers.
