DIELESUR hires IRIS Software Platform

The utility company DIELESUR S.L, located at La Rambla (Córdoba, Spain) has recently hired IRIS Software Platform. This new customer and its trust in Telecontrol STM, confirms again IRIS like a de-facto  platform for the advanced management or PRIME devices. In this case, the system will be deployed in the cloud (using Azure platform of Microsoft) and a VPN (virtual private network) will be established between IRIS instance and the local network of the customer for its data concentrators devices.

Very soon will begin the integration tasks between IRIS and DIELESUR billing software (which belongs to a different company).

On the other hand, IRIS in its current version and thanks to its smoothly integration of new features mecanism, will implement the validation of load profiles such as will be published soon officially buy CNMC, reporting automatically all hourly values validated to the sencodary concentrator. This is just an example about how IRIS, as a live platforma that is evolving continously, gets adapted to new normative needs.

IRIS recollect actively hourly values from data concentratos, reaching in some customers more than 95% of performance, a figure significantly higher than the hourly values reported automatically by the concentrators without that active management that IRIS performs on the devices.

This this new customer, to which we appreciate its trust in our company and that belongs to CIDE association,  we demonstrate one more time how IRIS gets adapted and integrates with any other software that works within the company (such as PIC, Audinfor, etc.)

IRIS has been design with security in mind as a fundamental priority; a VPN will be established using a dedicated router between Azure and the local network where Dielesur has connected its data concentrators.

With IRIS, the customer not only manages easily its deployment of PRIME meters; morover, IRIS provides an extense set of advanced functionaly, such as:

  • Geolocation of meter devices in real maps to detect PLC problems.
  • Automatic detection of meters that suffers multiple couplings between differents data concentrators.
  • Seguimiento constante del rendimiento del sistema (porcentaje de cierres y valores horarios obtenidos, etc.)
  • Constant tracking of the performance of the system (such as percenteage of daily billings and hourly values, etc.)
  • Incremental and transparent firmare updates.
  • Location of devices using its CUPS or any other identificators.
  • Update of validation rules before the values are sent to the secondary concentrator.
